Many thanks to the line members and the crew of Stormtroopers and Darth Vader from the Empire City Garrison for bearing the elements on the first day of the NYLine!!!
The press coverage was UNBELIEVABLE!!! We had local news channels - 2, 4, 5,7, 9 and 11 plus NY1. We also had the NYPost, The Daily News, Newsday, Associated Press (news wire, photo, radio and tv), Reuters Photo and News Wire AND 1010 Wins and WCBS Radio.
All of us at the NYLine would also like to thank Angelo's Pizzeria, Au Bon Pain Bakery, Bagel & Bean, Ben Ash Deli, Izze Cola, Red Bull and Starbuck's Coffee for providing much appreciated hot and cool beverages and actual meals throughout the day!
